The Manila Interior Design Summit 2024, themed “A Festival of Collaboration,” is set to be the premier event where interior designers, architects, and design industry leaders come together to celebrate and harness the power of collaboration. The event is scheduled for July 18-20, 2024, at The Playground, Bench Tower, Bonifacio Global City. Hosted by the Philippine Institute of Interior Designers (PIID), the nationally recognized professional organization for the interior design industry in the Philippines, this three-day event promises to inspire, educate, and connect.

Our esteemed speakers

  • Lyndon Neri: Co-founder of Neri&Hu Design and Research Office with Rosanna Hu, celebrated for blending architecture, interior design, and product design. Neri’s projects resonate culturally and contextually, integrating overlapping design disciplines and fostering a critical paradigm in architecture. His research-driven approach ensures each project addresses its unique contextual issues. Neri holds a Master of Architecture from Harvard University and has worked with renowned firms like Michael Graves & Associates and The Architects Collaborative.
  • Jonathan Matti: Known for his sophisticated design style and deep passion for Filipino culture, Jonathan Matti promotes Filipino artisanship and fosters a vibrant cultural community. His collaboration with British design firm De Gournay resulted in bespoke wallpaper panels inspired by 19th-century Manila and Philippine flora and fauna.
  • Benjamin Stevenson: A Senior Interior Designer at Foster + Partners, Stevenson has contributed significantly to hospitality, commercial, and residential design. He holds a Master of Interior Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design and has overseen notable projects like the Murray Hotel in Hong Kong and the new headquarters for Bench Philippines.
  • Alvin Tjitrowirjo: Indonesia’s leading designer, blending traditional and contemporary styles. After founding AlvinT in 2006, he gained international recognition for his innovative furniture designs that communicate Indonesian culture’s playful and vibrant personalities. His work has been featured in exhibitions like Maison et Objet in Paris and Salone Del Mobile in Milan.
  • Kezia Karin: Founder of Kezia Karin Studio, known for bespoke, high-end projects in residential, luxury offices, hospitality, and premium restaurants. Karin’s designs are marked by precision and innovation, transforming spaces and earning numerous accolades.
  • Vignesh Kaushik: Gensler’s Design Technology Director, driving digital transformation in design. Kaushik leads innovation with AI, machine learning, and BIM, focusing on mixed-use, retail, hospitality, sports, and workplace projects across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Greater China.
